    Our Address

It‘s not an extravagance to mention that color played crucial role in creating a mood. It will stimulate our imagination to express taste, smell, and emotions. Since technology has modified it all, and never before have there been so numerous colors obtainable, the flexibility to form our mood with color is especially true for a computer screen.

    Get to know about Colors

Primarily color is referred to as the by-product of the spectrum of light (as it’s reflected or absorbed) as recognized and processed by the both human eye & brain. Color is that the visual emotive property corresponding in humans to the classes referred to as blue, red, yellow, black, etc. Color derives from the spectrum of light interacting within the eye with the spectral sensitivities of the light receptions.

    Color as a Tool

Color is powerful because it helps in changing the mood – the mood of prospective customers/ consumers. If a website improves our state of mind, our relationship with a brand will enhance and therefore the likelihood of a return will increase. Advertisers and designers are well aware of that. People are not entirely guided by logic when making purchases. People tend to be driven by less identifiable factors such as emotions. For instant brands, like Harley Davidson, don’t sell motorcycles, they sell a lifestyle.

Finding the correct set of color is an art as everyone interprets colors differently. Therefore, the trick is regarding whole selection. In-fact no color scheme is universal or ideal. Also there is no best palette for a definite cultural or social group. We’ve to understand the meaning of colors so that they’ll effectively support our message. Efficient use of colors affects the decision-making process along-with surprising effectiveness.

    Different Kinds of Colors

Through colors we can manage the reactions of our target audience and can provoke them to bound behaviors. Following are the commonly used colors along-with their impact on users.

    Warm Bright Colors

    Warm Bright Colors

Beige, yellow, orange, pink, red and alike. These are active, obvious colors with a friendly nature that will induce a way of spirit and energy.

Warm bright colors visually enlarge objects and build them appear closer. Owing to their high visibility I advise limiting their use among solemn colors.

    Cold Bright Colors

    cold bright colors

Lavender, silver, and azure add subtlety, filled with aesthetics and freshness, accents.

Such cold yet bright tones gives a sensitivity of modernism and expertise if conjointly combined with gray. It’s a good composition for commerce, businesses, and service websites particularly with health, cosmetic and medicine products.

    Cold Dark Colors

    cold dark colors

Violet, blue, turquoise, green, navy provides a feeling of stability and quality. These shades are of usually placed as

concomitant colors. Though they don’t attract attention they emphasize the content.

Cold dark colors are wide used on corporate websites for bold and industrious qualities with a special highlight for state, science, automotive and computer products.

    Warm Dark Colors

    warm dark colors

Gold, purple, brown signify tradition, classics, luxury and relaxation. They merge well with elegant and expensive

and elegant especially for young and rich.

When mixed with cold colors provide a sensation of modernity and novelty. The color code is perfect for brands engaged in consulting, finance, architectonics and craft.

    Neutral Colors

    neutral colors

White, Grey and Black facilitates to form contrasts and bring all the other colors out. They don’t convey any

specific message on their own.  Neutrals colors are here to support their neighbors by taking part in the role of complementation on websites.

Their use will be really universal as they work well in an exceedingly sort of applications. Black is usually combined with bright colors while white with dark colors, almost creating a classic & universal combination.

    How to Apply Colors

    color wheel

The correlation of colors is essential to their impact. Colors like Reddish-brown sepia tones indicate to past and tradition, navy-blue mixtures are associated with dynamism, whereas while black and white when used in equal amounts leave a deeper expression to each other.

The appropriate combination of colors expresses thoughts in efficient without words and influences audiences.

Selection of specific colors by an individual or a company should reflect their brand mission along-with strength and clarity, so that it will attract prospective customers.

Again, there aren’t any ideal sets of colors. Some are more common, while some are less so. Whilst cold shades have a cooling effect whereas warm colors impact users to take action. Red spot on a light-weight background is dramatic, however when placed on a cold one is almost hot. The stronger the contrast, the more powerful the message will be.  Moreover many successful campaigns have found to broken colorful rules. Applying opposing colors persuaded their visibility on the market.

The designer’s role is to make clear and apprehensible communication through the impact of color. Fewer the hues used in a composition the simpler the whole thing is to remember. Try to select amongst two or three key colors and your message will sustain longer within the minds of your target audience.
